Emiko Ishii BioÂ
Emiko Jane Ishii is a British born Japanese actor, Professional Dancer and screen combatant with a unique and extensive skillset.Â
Her work ranges from film, TV, theatre and commercials including, BBC1 The Interceptor, Bollywood Feature film Mad About Dance (Sahil Prem) as the Japanese underdog, Amy and Bhangra Paa Le (Sneha Taurani) as the fearless Canada Team Leader.Â
Emiko has toured all over the UK with Bring on the Bollywood (Samir Bhamra) and No God, No Girls by award winning director Gbemisola Ikumelo.Â

Her martial arts and choreographic skills has allowed her to progress as an special action artist on BBC Giri & Haji (Julian Farino) and a Mocumentary film (Jack Clough), People Just Do Nothing. In between projects as has also appeared in many Action Shorts as the Lead in 2019 & 2020 including The Divine Paradox (Pablo D´Ambrosi) Queen Zayeda in Hope (Kupjazz Onemind) and the detective in Art of Mimicry (Luke Jenkins)Â
She is currently writing and producing a Pilot Series, SAI, about the relationship between a Japanese British government agent that ends up marrying her assignment target. She has been cast in the role of the Japanese new special agent "Pimiko Shogi" in  "The World Mission" scheduled to be filming in 2022. In the film she plays the role of the granddaughter of Japanese Warrior Queen Himiko who ruled in the 3rd Century CE.
After completing her BA in Film & American Studies at King´s College and Santa Barbara University, she studied at the Met Film School that awarded her with a Professional Practice Diploma in Filmmaking. She has worked in Paris at La Franco Américaine Film, Hubbard Casting, Edinburgh TV & Film Festival as well as Red Sparrow Productions.Â
Emiko is also a professional Dancer that has travelled internationally with 17 years of performance experience and armed with special skills in Karate, Eskrima and Muay Tai. Emiko is the Founder, Creative Director, Choreographer of International Dance Troupe, Epika Dance, where she has performed on prestigious live stage shows, award ceremonies, feature films and music videos.Â
