The Seven, leaders of the annual G7 Summit, met in Elmau, in a castle in Bavaria, Germany, this year, a step after its holding in the UK in 2021. The leaders of the seven industrialized countries (G7) including Germany, Canada , France, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom and United States, as well as the Presidents of the European Union, meet to discuss the dramatic situation of the confit in Ukraine, and its consequences on the threats of shortage in gas and oil , as well as famine caused by the non-delivery of the exergue and cereals from Ukraine and Russia. The global economic context is very tense, due to galloping inflation, linked in particular to the rising cost of energy and foodstuffs on which the most vulnerable countries, especially Africans, depend. This year 2022, note the participation of emerging countries, such as Indonesia, India, Senegal, South Africa and Argentina, which are particularly exposed to the risk of food shortages. The double penalty consists in subjecting these countries to both a food crisis juxtaposed with the climate crisis, creating scenarios of intense drought, in the Sahel and the Horn of Africa.
