Women’s Forum group, are honored to announce that Maryna Viazovska, recipient of the Fields Medal 2022 will be one of the speakers at the Women's Forum Global Meeting!
On July 5 2022, Ukrainian mathematician Maryna Viazovska won the prestigious Fields Medal, which is often described as the Nobel Prize in mathematics.
Viazovska is also professor and Chair of Number Theory at the Institute of Mathematics of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.
On 11 October Today on international #dayofthegirl, we dedicate this day to all the girls in Afghanistan, Iran and all over the world who suffer from oppressive policies.
The United Nations announced last week that 46 young women were killed in a suicide bombing at a school in Afghanistan.
Hundreds of female students were taking a mock exam for university admissions when a suicide bomber detonated himself next to the school.
This is shocking. This is outrageous. This is unacceptable.
We call on the international community to take immediate action to put an end to this violence against girls and women.
