THE SCALP/STORM SHADOW IS A FRENCH-ENGLISH WEAPON WITH A RANGE OF 250 KM MISSILE
The SCALP/Storm Shadow is a French-English weapon with a range of 250 kilometers, the longest of any Western weapon supplied to Ukraine so far, and Britain announced two months ago, Â that it would supply a batch of the advanced weapons.
Russia reacted with angrily and spokesperson of Kremlin Peskov, said this will lead to escalation, and, warned that London risked being involved directly into the conflict, and even some Western allies were concerned that Ukraine might conduct strikes into Russia itself. "From our point of view, this decision is a mistake with consequences for the Ukrainian side, because this will, of course force us to take countermeasures," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said of France's decision to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles.President Macron, explained that the SCALP Missiles (unknown amount) are to be delivered to Ukraine "in coherence with our doctrine, that is to say to permit Ukraine to defend its own territory."
